Hi I'm depressed. Not because of the way, I'm loosing. It's my free time. Mom has told me I need to come home and help her do some house work, when she has promised me that she would come help me, 3 times. I have not had 1 weekend to myself. I feel like crying. I love my parents, but I want some time to get my apartment organized. I moved in May 1, (Have too much crap), sleeping on my sofa, since I can't get my bed in because of boxes in my room are still packed, By the way that's where the computer is, and (taking a quick break from organizing) I have to climb over 3 boxes just to get to the computer. Sorry, I'm venting. But I'm going a little crazy. Mom is having some health problems, but I don't see why my Dad can't help by carrying boxes to the basement, (that's all she wants me to do). Life sucks! But the surgery is and was worth it. Sorry again, about the venting. I ran out of my antidepressants and finally got them renewed today. So maybe I'll have a better week. Goals: 1. Take my ANTIDEPRESSANT 2. Unpack ( or try to) 3. Walk more 4. Quit buying books ( I have 5 boxes to get rid of) 5. Drink more water 6. Help Mom (it's going to be hard, only because she keeps promising me this and that) I think I'll leave it like that. I hope I can do this. Take Care and thanks for listening and for your support, without this group, I'm not sure where I would be, but I am in the century club as of right now. I started at 347 and now I'm at 235. Surgery was December 22, 2003. Love Lisa Young

Hey Lisa, Hold your chin up, and hang in their. I to take antidepresents, and know to well what it's like when your not on them. I do want to say also the deal with your mom, and understanding that your new place aint organized yet either, well life can be frustrating, but go with the flow. Parents can be a nag, but someday you will wish they was here. My mom has been gone 17 years, and I would love to run over to do something for her. Take care, and hold your chin up. Their is a light at the end of the tunnel! GOOD LUCK!~ Pam

Lisa, Glad you posted some goals and WHOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!! Congrats!! Doesn't that feel good? When you are feeling down, just remember what you have done for yourself and how your health is improving daily. You have worked hard to get where you are, be proud in that! Hang in there with your mom and apartment. If you don't have a hubby or kids tripping over the boxes at your house or someone complaining that you are on the couch, then, do what you can when you have time. Then, when you have some extra time one day, you can take care of some of your unpacking. It will happen, have faith! Ya know, we started at about the same time with surgery and at about the same weight. I started at 327.5 and am now, (as of Monday, June 28) at 215 - down 112.5 pounds. Very similar with what you have accomplished. I have kicked up the walking this past several weeks and actually dropped 10.5 pounds in less than two weeks! WOW. Keep working towards your goals and relish in your accomplishments. Know that we care, God bless, Andrea
