7 wks post op
Wow, seven weeks already! I'm down 38 pounds as of today. I am pleased. My rate of loss is just a little over 3 pounds per week. Going into this I had hoped for 10 pounds a month.
Got my hair cut tonight and my stylist said I looked pale. I don't feel pale! Guess I'd better pay attention to how I look tomorrow. My last blood work was good.
Going to buy new undies this weekend. I hate baggy drawers! They creep into spots they are not meant to be! My butt seems to be going first. I have what I affectionately call Terminal Baggy Butt Syndrome! My slacks are looking pretty sad. Isn't it great!

Sure doesn't seem like it's been 7 weeks already! Good job on your weight loss! I had to buy new undies last month also, what a wonderful feeling shopping for smaller instead of bigger! My jeans fit one week & the following week they literally fell off now that's a great feeling You are doing great, keep up the good work!

Congrats on the loss, Lyn. Get used to the saggy syndromes, they will continue to hang around for a while. Just wait - soon it will be the saggy skin syndrome as my niece not so affectionately told me. She said "Aunt Andy, I know that you have lost a lot of weight, but boy are you saggy now!" And I even had clothes on!! Preteens, the things that come out of their mouths!
Keep up the good work,
God bless,
Andrea
Lyn,
Fear not, the butt is the first thing to go.... at least it was for me. I was a founding member of the BIG BUTT club, and now my Mom teases me that I am in the NO butt club. This has it's disadvantages....(less padding).... BUT it's a great feeling when you try things on and it doesn't get stuck going over the "rump region".... no more shimmy to get stuff on!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS.
