Approval for surgery!

Hi all! I'm so excited! I called Wellmark today and they approved my surgery! I just couldn't wait any longer and had to call! There was a part of me that was worried it wouldn't get approved. So whew! I have an appointment with the pulmonary doc on the 8th for surgical clearance. Next week I have to get a chest xray, EKG and do a nocturnal oximetry for the appt on the 8th. I'm really anxious to get a date and get going--my younger sister is having her first baby sometime around mid-August and I am praying to be done with surgery and on the recovery road by then. Yeah, Judy!!! That is a wonderful first step. I remember the feeling when insurance was finally approved. My husband would not even think that surgery was a "go" until we knew that both insurances were going to pay. Good luck with all of your appointments to come. Congrats and God bless, Andrea
