A DATE...A DATE... I'VE FINALLY GOT A DATE!!!

I've got a daaaaate! wooohoooooooooooooooooo! (Someone just signing onto this site is saying..."who with!...and is he nice?") Surgery date with Dr. Cahalan...great guy actually! happy dance July 6th, barely 2 weeks away. Okay, now I'm sweating bullets... So...did everyone else have second thoughts just after finding out their date? Kelly B.

That was the only time I was truly scared......When I was approved and got a date......It all of the sudden hit me and I was like HOLY SH*T!!!! But it settles down!!!!! Congrats that is so soon! Pretty soon you'll be on the loosing side with us!!! It is a ride....not always easy.....a little bumpy at times......but sooooooo worth it!!! Take Care Jesi

Oh kelly, My sincerest congratulations..We will (hopefully) be having surgery the same day, I am set for July 6th also, but still awaiting approval. Congratulations!! Have a tottie for me!! MIssy

Melodiously - "Things that make ya go HMMMMMMMMMMMMM" OOPS, wrong post!! Silly me!! Congrats - Singing again - "Celebrate good times, come on!" Your wait is almost over. Can't believe that it is not even two weeks away! Can't say that I had second thoughts, but will say ditto to Jesi's post that it scared the s*#t out of me, especially when the dietician said "oh, you have surgery in less than two weeks." Ahhhhhhhhhh reality set in. Know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers until and during that time. It really is a great journey - hard sometimes - but well worth it! Hi Kelly, Congrats!!!!! Sometimes it takes a little bit for it to sink in that it's really gonna happen!! Don't get too nervous and take care of yourself.

WOW! I am so excited for you!!!!! Not only did I have second thoughts, but I had third, fourth, fifth ect.... thoughts. It's normal. I'd be worried if you didn't have second thoughts. The journey is a real challenge but for me it's been worth every bit! You'll be in my prayers, keep us posted. Eileen
