Should I worry?
I had my appt with the diaticion (sp) and that went good. This past monday (21) had my pysh eval. We talked for about an hour and then was done. I didn't take a test like other people have said they did. Should I be concerned? I saw Dr. Wellso (nice man). He said I have a couple of compulsions, and could have a difficult time after wls. He knows I have seen a therapist in the past and that I will again if need be. He also said he would get his notes transcribed that night. I'm praying I pass. I'm thinking that he will ok me since he said he would get it done that night. Also I called my surgeon yesterday and have an appt with him July 21. Sorry this is so long, but I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. For the life of me I can"t figure out how to update my profile! I though I knew and typed some imfo but it didn't post. Thanks for any help you can give, Cindy
No...don't worry. If there are any concerns the Surgeon will probably speak with you about them after he receives the report.
Also, to update your profile to to "your profile" at the top of the page. Then type in your first and last names and your password. When your page comes up you'll see tons of headings. Go to the one that says something about "General Information". At the top of that page will be some drop down boxes about where you are in the process like, approved, or have a date, or finished first surgery consult. And a box for insurance stuff like "approved after first letter, or appeal" etc.
Towards the bottom of that page is the box you can type stuff in about your WLS journey.
Good luck!

Cynthia,
Unless you're crazy like some of us here, I'm sure that you will pass with flying colors. I think that the psych eval is to make sure that there is nothing major that will get in the way of surgery. For example, if a person has depression, the psych may just want to be sure that the person is being treated. I'm sure that you don't have to worry, especially if the doctor said that he was going to type the report that night.
Hope you figured out everything with your profile.
God bless,
Andrea
