Hello everyone, Hope that you are not getting sick of these weekly posts. It helps to hold me accountable, that is why I do them. (Once again, following the lead of Elizabeth!) How did your week go last week? I did okay, only walked 2 times, but did Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies one time as well. Then was on my feet all day yesterday for a festival in my town. Carbs continue to be a big downfall for me. I have been eating fat free pretzals too much. They are gone now and I am not going to pick any more up until I have more control. Can you tell that I still have some control issues??? Anyway, I have another week and a half of school to finish and then a class to finish independent study. My goals include: 1) Exercise 3 times or more this week 2) Crunches again 3) DO NOT COMMIT "CARBOCIDE" with dreaded PMS 4) Keep up on homework What are your goals? How did you do last week? Let's hear from all of you now, including all of you lurkers!!! God bless, Andrea

Hi Andrea- We are not sick of your weekly goals post- you are great for doing it! That is why I decided to post this week! My goals are spinning class 5 times, and to not eat anything with sugar. I seem to be able to eat more than I thought I would- do any of you find this? It worries me..... although sometimes I can hardly eat anything at all (I'm talking quantity). Anyway- have a great week everybody. Lori -101

Lori, Glad that you did post. Is spinning really fun? I just rode a bike for the first time in 15-20 years last week. It was fun! I still seem to not be able to eat too much, but I find that, more often then I used to, I will eat until ALMOST uncomfortably full, rather than stopping when I BEGIN to feel full. Sounds like we could work on this together! Great loss, by the way!!! Keep up the good work, Andrea

Paula, Sounds like some great goals! I especially like the goal for prayer time. I like to try to get some good prayers in while walking. First thing in the morning is a great time for praise because it's so beautiful outside! Now remember this week, lay off that Dew! Andrea

Hello! I don't have my surgery date, yet, but I'm starting to get ready. My goals for this week are: 1) Drink 64+ ounces of water a day. 2) Start sampling protein shakes and powders to find one I like. Not big steps, but a start. Cheers! Martha

Martha, Glad that you are here and posting goals with us! Have fun tasting protein powders. You can get some good samples online. Try bariatriceating.com. I know that others can give you some more sites where you can get samples. I use the Elite chocolate or chocolate mint protein powder, but need to get back in the swing of things and have a protein drink daily. I haven't been doing good with that, vitamins or water. Wow - just talked myself into three more goals! God bless, Andrea

Well, Dad and I are kind of talking. Not the best yet. I need to remind myself that I need to take my calcium and my Multi-vitamins. I did some walking, but not much. I need to keep it up. School started, Stressed out all ready! Haven't finished unpacking my apartment yet, I need to. I also need some prayers for my mom, she's sick and no one knows what's wrong. She went in for a CAT scan Friday (last week). I kind of hope that they find something that they can fix. But then again I hope they don't find anything. I was hoping only because that way she could take care of what it is and get to feeling better. We won't know any results bac****il sometime tomorrow the dr said. I will keep everybody updated. I am going to walk a little more this week, and ok, study harder, since I'm not doing too good on my computer class. Even the tests are open book, I don't get it. And drink more water. I better close, teacher is back in the classroom. Take Care Lisa Young
