WLS Story
Hi,
Just had to share this little story. I had purchased a pair of jeans last week that were labeled size 34, the size I have been wearing for the last couple of weeks (the size 36 were/are getting too baggy). I put thme on Sunday morning for church and wondered why the jeans felt a little tighter than they should. Out of curiosity I checked the inside label and....the jeans were actually a size 32 and I could wear them.
Quite a big deal from prior to surgery when I was wearing a size 50 stretch jean that was getting too tight.
One little question: has anybody else had a rise in blood pressure since surgery? Had no problem before surgery but now am running in the pre-hypertension range. Thanks for any replys.
Lester
thats great Lester! awesome!
whenever I go and get clothes I always get what size I think I should be in and the size smaller, I always seem to fit into the size smaller, LOL.
from a 32/34 to a 16/18 in bottoms right now is feeling really good.
as for blood pressure, usually mine has been running low to be honest, and I have different problems with that, with headaches and weakness. usually mine runs about 105/65 or so, and thats at work at the nursing home, running around.
take care@!

Wow, Lester, you must be just skinny to get into a size 32 waist jeans!!! Great job! You continue to be an inspiration.
About the blood pressure, I tend to be like Judi, have been running on the low side if anything. Have you increased salt intake at all? I would doublecheck with your doc.
Nice to see you posting such wonderful successes!
God bless,
Andrea
First congrats on the 32s.... and about hypertension I was off my blood pressure meds for over 2 years but my high blood pressure came back. Our family has a history of hypertension. Anyway my last check up I am down to one pill every other day, instead of 3 pills a day prior to WLS.
Size 50s down to 32s very IMPRESSIVE!!!!
