sad weekend for me

my baby is in the 2/123 fa guard unit out of milan, ill. they were put on alert last monday(5/24). sat night he left for desert traing in the mojave desert. dont take a dummy to figure out where he is going. this is really depressing me. i am crying and not eating , etc.at least he has a level head on his shoulders. thanks for listening to me.

I can only imagine what you are feeling. My prayers are with you and your family and all of our troops. Please take care of yourself. Your son wouldn't want you to get sick over this. Be sure you are getting in your protein and water. Hang in there and let us help you.

Mary, Sorry to hear that your son has shipped out to other parts of the world. Know that God will wrap His loving arms around your son for safety AND around you for comfort. You will both be in my thoughts and prayers. Ditto to what everyone else has said about taking care of you. You cannot afford to make yourself ill - it's not what your son would want, either.
