new things

hey everyone, i am now enjoying the trills of gardening. i have been planting a humming bird garden. i always enjoy making mud pies when i was young, i still do ! i got a newer car yesterday. my dh told me he would get me a new one,when i was in the hospital for wls. when he was getting my 92olds ready for my trip to my girl, lynette, in ill, he said the olds needed some majar work. well, i went looking at cars then. i always went to see my grand kids every 12 months and nothing will stop me. theres a real neat chevy truck out now that converts to a convertable. dealership in town has one, a pretty bright red. was going to get it, till i saw the price. 43,000. ya right!!!! well, i found a ford focus i like. its a 2003. i fit so nice with. and i look good in it too. dh said are you sure, cuz you can have a brand new one. but , i cant see paying that price and getting everything i wanted on this one. he wanted a black convertable. ya right. i cant drive a 5 speed . hard to say goodbye to my big old olds, only had 150,000 miles on it.

I know how hard it is to part with a loved one ( ur car)... I have a 91 Chevy S-10 that I have had since it was new. It now has 224,000 miles on it and does not burn a drop of oil even now. But my hubby says he doesn't want me out and about in it, even though it runs good yet, just in case it dies.. so he has taken it for work and I have the car.. YUCK! I miss my truck :o(
