5/31 ROLL CALL/WEEKLY GOALS

Good morning, all, Sorry that I did not get this on here yesterday, but was out of town and when I tried last night, our puter kicked me offline again. AHHHHHHHHH Anyway, how was your holiday weekend? I snacked on too many chips yesterday at a cook-out at my Grandma's house in Illinois. Didn't make myself sick, just not too proud of myself. Back on the ball today! It was nice to see all of my mom's family - I got so many compliments and was even able to talk to my cousin who is a skinny minny and had surgery 4 years ago (she started at 340 lbs.). My uncle even told me that I look like my great grandma. We compared her picture to me and he is right - the jaw line is the same. Too cool! Well, since walking club is done at school for the year, my main goal this week is to exercise at least four times, walking or Sweatin' to the Oldies! 1)exercise 2)eat right - limit starches (crackers) and only one CONTROLLED snack in the evening if necessary 3)wrap up the school year and everything that I have to do this week. 4)do homework! Hello Andrea, I bet you feel great its nice getting compliments from others I was wondering if you were going to be busy friday night I was thinking of coming by and visit let me know. anyway my goals are 1. walk more 2. more water 3. eat more iron foods 4. less snacking which is hard 5. situps well thats it for me this week i'm not loseing any pounds but I am loseing inches all my clothes my mom gave me 3 weeks ago are all to big. take care Laurie

Andrea, Weekend sucked majorly sorry to say.....so when do you get out of school for summer....My kids get out friday and they are not to happy about....o well they will get over it..... goals this week..... 1)take time to not stress 2)walk 3)be happy (sad thing when you have to make that a goal) still looking for a job.....i know take one day at a time...i am talking to someone about issues but sad thing what is wrong with my life is my ex...i cant change that so i will move on......well hope everyone reaches their goals this week..........good luck...............lynda

Andrea! Had a quiet weekend here. Some cousins were up from Omaha & they noticed the difference in me, made me feel good Sure is nice for people to notice! AND they didn't know I had surgery until I told them. I've kept pretty low keyed about this. I just didn't want it to get back to the Denver relation! We have our family reunion there on the 13th & wanted to see how many of them noticed!! My goals for the week are: get on that bike & ride, ride & ride some more. eat my 6 "meals" a day & drink, drink & drink tons more. get off my fat butt & start getting around for my trip! I have to say I'm getting more energy as the days pass, that was something I didn't have much of. will see by end of today how that is going to babysit grandkids this week! Plus Katie has 2 softball games & will be taking the kids along, that should be a trip! You are looking great girl, keep up the good work! Hugs, Carolyn

Hello hello......gotta get that computer of yours fixed.....pretty soon you will be out of school....Then we won't hear from you much if your puter is still broken Had a good weekend.....Nothing much exciting....had fun at my folks, got all of the girls b-day shopping done! Came home and gt a lot of yard work done.....Other than that nothing to exciting.....I have one goal and one goal only this week. EXERCISE!!!!!!! I am lucky I am doing so good without exercising....but my luck will run out when honeymoon is over and I don't exercise....your last email really made me think.....I am doing great but I could be doing so much better.....I am only cheating myself....So this week....that is my only focus.....of course I will eat good and drink good.....but my major goal is to get my lazy bum moving....Take Care and have a great week everyone! Had an okay weekend. Learned I really can't eat fast. I won't do that again. Goals for the week: Exercise at least every other day Clean my house Drink more water. That's it. Go to the surgeon today and support group right after. Have a ton of questions for him. Made my list! Down 28 pounds in 3 wks.

Goals this week: oooohhh. I'm going to see my entire disfunctional family this week, we havn't been together in over 2 years. I have a feeling that I will be fighting stress eating all week. So, my goal is to be civilized no matter what! (I'm not normally a hostle person, but my family tends to love to push the baggage buttons on each other.) And in the process of this civility, I hope to eat only when I'm supposed to, avoid the munchies and try to make the week fun. If any of you pray, please pray for me this week. I can use all the help I can get. I'm praying for tolerance and patients. Good luck to everyone with this weeks goals. Peace to all, Eileen

Hi Had my 3 month appointment with my Dr. I'm almost at the half way mark, can't believe it. My goals are to remember to take my antidepressants, feeling quite depressed, finish unpacking, yes, I still have boxes and boxes of stuff, and I've been here for a month. Walk more, and catch up on sleep. School starts next Tuesday, Taking some summer classes. And hope I can pass these classes. I am worried about one class. I have a learning disability, and I am going to need all the help I can get. So wish me good luck. I will try to get on more and post.
