It is hard to believe that in ten days I am having wls surgery. I cleaned out my cupboards last night and sorted things that I will be able to eat (hopefully) and put them in their own cupboard. I will be going shopping and try to fill it up as good as I can. Any suggestions??? I am trying to get alot of the things done that I won't be able to do for a while after the surgery. Time has just crept up on me and I still have so much to do. I also wanted to go to garage sales and try to have a few things ready to shrink into but didn't get that done either. I guess I am just rattling so thanks for listening.

Hi Jean, Will keep you in my thoughts & prayers. Don't stock up on a lot of things, I kind of did & have plenty of "left-overs" to show for it! I'm just a month out now & have pudding & jello left over. Good Luck & keep us posted. Carolyn

Just remember that the amount you will be able to eat is very small. It has taken me all week to finish a can of refried beans! The only thing I go thru a lot of is the dry milk powder for my double milk and skim milk. Everything else is just 2-3 oz at a time. Think small.
