Have post op ?

Is all this gas and diarrhea normal? I'm afraid to get too far from the bathroom.

I have days like that, especially if I have a protein drink. Think the body is trying to get use to the BIG change, that's the way I look at it. Milk bothering you? Hugs, Carolyn

I had terrible diarrhea for a couple weeks......Your bowels were cut and re-arranged......It plugs some people up, and others it wreacks havoc!!!! For the gas I used gas-x.....They are chewable and really helps!!! Good Luck Jesi

Now that I have the opposite probs, I forgot all about the diarrhea right after surgery. Yep, it happened to me for several days. Like Jesi said, your intestines have been re-arranged. Give them time to adjust. Like always, though, if you have questions, ask your surgeon! God bless, Andrea
