"Light-headedness"???
Has anyone post-op ever experienced lightheadedness? I have felt I was "blacking out" several times this week. For example, this morning, I stood up from a chair where I was working with kids and went to a bookshelf to get a book and had to sit down before I fell down. By that time, the feeling had passed. Any clues?
May God's blessings be poured out to all of you,
Andrea
Thanks in advance for the ideas.
Thanks for the responses. I had eaten 4 reduced fat ritz crackers and 2 cheese sticks at about 8:30. The incident at school happened at about 9:30. Before breakfast, I had 20 oz of tea and then after breakfast, I was drinking a 24 oz bottle of water. Don't think that any of my sugars would have been low, or that I would have been dehydrated, but who knows. If it keeps up, I will ask my doctor.
Thanks again,
Andrea
Thanks, Mary! Not only for the response, but for callin' me young!! It's been a long time since anyone has called me that. LOL
I will contact the doc on Monday. I do have a 6 month check-up with the surgeon the first week in June, so I know that I will be seeing someone soon one way or another. Will do full blood work before then to check labs as well.
Appreciatively,
Andrea
