I'm so excited!!

Hello All, I haven't been on for awhile and some of you may not remember me, But I'm just so excited. I just went and saw my surgeon, she said it would probably be 9 months before my surgery, we're waiting on the insurance company, but they said they will more than likely have to appeal. But I figure hey It's taken me 21 years to even come to this, what's another 9 months. So I was wondering if anyone has had the lap band done. If so could you let me know the pro's and con's? I just wanted to let you all in on my excitement. Heather

Hi Heather, If you go to top of page and hit main entrance then right below is a select forum, press the drop down box go to lap band and there is a whole message group that is just lapband forum, they will most likely have the answers your looking for. Good luck to ya on your journey.
