How was everyones weekend in Iowa????

Ours was so-so......I had good plans and was excited for the weekend but got a sick kid, that and Thunder kept me awake for two nights straight......I don't honestly think I will get out of my P.J's today.....It will more than likely be a stay at home bum and pick up around the house day! Satuday we had a birthday party to go to, that went pretty good....Then Saturday night we ended up going out with friends for drinks.....It was my girlfriends 30th.....I came home really early with bad headache.....hubby stayed out with friends even though I asked him not too, was not very happy!!!! Then after trying to sleep with major headache (unsuccessfully I might ad) One of my daughters was up screaming her ear hurt.....Gave her medicine sat up with her for a couple hours and watched cartoons.....She fianlly dozed off and I thought it wold be time to sleep being 1 or 2am already.....She slept for maybe 20 mins and would keep waking up wimpering......that went on all night!!!!!! It was not fun and I maybe slept 1 hour total..........My headache never went away I snacked all night since I was up anyways....Then Sunday morning bright and early my parents are here to go out for breakfast....We had a 8:30 am reservation so I had to get everyone up and ready really early, except Katie and I were already awake and VERY crabby.....Breakfast went well, besides pounding head.......We had plans to visit with friends Sunday after noon - Sorry again Andrea But we had to take Katie to the doctors.......Sure enough, nasty ear infection...So now e have to make an appt with the ENT doc this week...And Last night was the same thing all over again.......My hubby was really slacked this year......He said happy mothers day but that was it.....no card no nothing, I still did all the work......I finally laid down last night and slept for a few hours.....woke up like at 10pm to more whining and new I was in for a great night AGAIN>>>>>>Sorry to vent, just tired I guess......I was doing so good with eating I am only 2 pounds away from century.....but both night as I stay awake watching cartoons I kept going to and fro the kitchen for snacks.....I will probably have to work my butt off all week to get off snacking AGAIN......plus my b-day is wednesday and I wanted to be at century really bad.....We will see~~ Again sorry for the venting......I hope everyone elses weekend went better, and everyone had a good mothers day!! Must be something in the air, because my weekend was boring and no one remembered good ole mom for Mother's day! Hope that you were able to get some rest today and that Katie is feeling better! Jesi, sorry to hear you are having a rough weekend..... mine was boring i cleaned all weekend and i think i over did it though i can barely walk....my legs are killing me see i got a new pc desk and i had to put it together so i had to do a lot of bending and alot of aquatting. i had a good mothers day. spent time with my mom and the first real get together with my family since all my surgeries...talk to you all later......lynda
