I have a surgery date

I dont post that much, but I have a date. 5/24/2004 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport. I am excited and of course nervous. Two weeks from tommorrow already. I have gotten so many good ideas here. Deciding what to take to the hospital now. Thanks Andrea for all your support.How is your mom? HUGS CYNDI

Woman, I was just thinking about you and that I haven't heard from you in a while. Two weeks from tomorrow is not too long. Wow, you will think about it over and over again until that time. Keep in touch during your wait. It helped me to read all of the time and to post questions. I needed to stay connected to those that knew what I was going through. Have you posted for an angel yet? Thanks Sherri and Andrea. I would love an angel. I have gotten a lot of support from family, friends, co workers and my pastor. I am really blessed. Yep, it was pretty fast. See PT and dietician this week again. Trying to find the things I will "eat" afterwards, so Jeff will not be scrambling wround. GOt the SF pudding, popsicles,mousse mix, some flavorings and Carnation SF instant breakfasts. Didnt load up on the jello like you suggested. I found some SF Green tea with Tangerine that I love. I have to try the cream of wheat yet. Coulnt eat it as a kid, but I am willing to do what ever they say I must eat. Any suggestions are REALLY appreciated! GOt the flavored Chapsticks for the hospital like someone said before. Thanks for all your support!

Congrats Cyndi! The time will go so fast, but yet drag on forever at the same time! LOL I think all or most of us females have a "nesting" thing that happens. We want to get the house clean and everything all ready for our families to be able to manage while we are gone or still recovering. I know I had so many lists that I about drove everyone crazy! I just had my surgery in Febuary, I have no regrets! I won't say it isn't challenging but it's a wonderful change. I'll keep you in my prayers this month. Eileen
