Tomorrow's the day!
Just wanted to tell you all that tomrrows my surgery day!!!!!
I made it through yesterdays bowl prep!!!! It wasn't too bad, I think that is what I dreadded the most was drinking that stuff!
I put on swimmers nose plugs, brushed my teeth, mixed that stuff on ice with a little orange juice and downed it ....followed by a couple glasses of water, burshed my teeth again (before I took off the nose plugs).
I didn't taste a thing!!! It was not bad at all!
Anyway I will be off for awhile but will keep you all posted when I return home!
By the way after being on this two weeks of clear liquids and the bowl prep that Dr. Glas**** puts you on......I"m down 17 pounds in two weeks!
Thanks so much for all your support! You all are the best!
One more favor?????????Keep me in your prayers!!!

I have to say that that was the most elaborate way of taking the "****tail" I have ever heard of and how neat that you didn't even taste it. Keeping the noseplugs on until after brushing your teeth was a stroke of genius! Now just the antiobiotics & you're home free until tomorrow. Just a word of warning, in case someone hasn't already warned you, the antiobiotics may work on you the same way the bowel prep did. Surprisingly, it may cause you to spend even more time in the bathroom again. I don't know where all that "stuff" came from.
Good luck tomorrow. Dr G is a great surgeon & he'll take good care of you as well as the nurses on the floor.

I just joined so I am sorry that this is not going to get to you in time.
But I wanted to tell you that not to worry everything will be alright. You have the Greatest surgon around, and his bedside manner is awesome as well! The nurses are sweet hearts and will make you comfortable.
Do everything the tell you especially the WALKING! Very, very important to get as much walking in as possible.
Dr. Angie is a sweetie as well, you will see her the most throughout this whole thing.
I will keep you in my prayers. And remember you and God are partners on this day! God Bless!
Take Care
