I wi**** were a surgery date...but I'll settle for this for now. So got through the Psyc stuff. My Primary Care Pysician (whom I was worried would give me fits...though he did glare at me!) said he supports it and approved Mercy's program for me. I have my sleep study date set for next Wednesday and the sleep study doc appointment for June 2nd (though I'm going to try to get that earlier) and my appointment with the dietician and the sugeon on Tuesday the 4th. Still waiting to hear from the inurance company though. Comeon guys...you know you wanna! Just do it! Still moving right along...tempted to hold my breath... Kelly B.

Please don't hold your breath while you are sleeping That might be detrimental! Hang in there. Prayers your way for approval. God bless, Andrea

Please don't hold your breath! Then there might not be any need for WLS! I'm guessing you're trying not to get to excited in case your insurance doesn't approve it. I know that's how I was. I'm still a little worried that for whatever reason, they will decide not to pay for it. The approval letter I got says it's pre-authorized but doesn't necessarily mean they will pay if they find a reason not to! Scary. I'm trying not to think about that. Have a bad sleep for your sleep study. It always helps to have sleep apnea to get insurance to approve it. Good luck! Lyn

Hi Kelly, I remember how happy I was to finally get my sleep study done. Make sure your really tired when you go. It's a challenging nights sleep. I'm really happy for you. Your another step closer. Keep me posted on your progress. I'm sending lots of positive support your way, Eileen
