post-op update

Hi everyone it's been awhile since I posted anything so I thought I give you an update on how my son and I are doing. First I am 7 and a half months post-op and I have lost 140 lbs. and I am feeling great. I walk anywhere from 2 to 5 miles a day. Which I could never do before. And I am off all of my diabetic meds. And I feel super. Now my son is 11 weeks post-op and he has lost 132 lbs. He had his surgery done Jan. 28th this year at Grinnell. He feel alot better now. Wow, Diana, it sounds like both you and your son have done a phenomenal job! 140 pounds in 7 months???? 132 pounds in 11 weeks????????? Neither of those amounts are typos? WOW again!!! How in the world is your son losing it all so fast? Congrats on the loss and being off all of the meds! It must feel great!!! Thanks for updating us. God bless, Andrea
