still plateauing..still pouting
Sorry i haven't been on much...im just still pouting about this plateau. Still at 202 - 206 lbs... bouncing for going on 8 weeks now. I know the day will come when i get "unstuck" ... but i've never been a patient person. At 9 months, i feel i should still be losing. After one failed weight loss surgery...this scares the hell out of me. Although 102 lbs lost in 9 months is hardly a failure..im sure you all know what i mean and how i feel. Hope you all have a great weekend! OH! And the Adventureland thing sounds WONDERFUL... although I think I'll make it a day just for me...not for the kids... they can stay with Dad Can't wait to meet all of you...i'll keep watching for an exact date. ~~Dawn
Dawn,
I can totally sympathize with you on this. I have been on a plateau since the end of Dec. I continue to exercise 4 times a week and I have increased my water to 104 oz or more a day to help and cut carbs out as much as I can. I still don't eat bread which I am glad as I hear that it will really slow things down. I still have my window open so I am not trying to be so focused on it at this point. Try writing down everything that you eat in a day for a couple of weeks and see if you can see a pattern or anything of that nature. I know that if I would cut out sweets all together that might help. I know that if I don't allow myself the samll treats then I will go hog wild at one time and really do something bad. Just hang in there. How is your protein intake? That might help to increase that as well.
Keep in touch and keep your chin up.

Dawn,
Sorry that I did not reply sooner. The flu slowed me down this week.
Are you still plateuing? Have you tried everything like counting the calories and keeping a food journal? Do you weigh yourself too often? I find that weighing only once a month helps me to get past those times that I am bloated, have had a bad day or have PMS. Have you tried to increase fluids? What about exercising? I'm sorry that I am just throwing out things that you have already heard or tried. But I'm just learning myself.
Whatever the case, know that you are doing a good job. You have lost a tremendous amount of weight - your pictures on your profile show that! Hang in there, sweetie!
God bless,
Andrea
