Diane, Hey, I totally understand what you're are going through I have been stressing myself out wondering if Medipass will pay for this surgery. So anyway I've done a little investigating. Her goes... First- go to a web engine such as Yahoo and type in health insurance You will notice that most of those sites compare rates and will have different insurance companies call you if you want. Second- When you start getting the phone calls, ask the representative if this insurance covers pre-exsisting conditions. If they say yes make sure and ask about Bariatric Surgery. That's the best I can do for you I wish you lots, and lots of LUCK! Sincerely- Heather

Thanks a bunch Heather, but I have already done this and many insurances have called. The bad thing is that they tell me that I am too overweight (247 lbs.) and with my high blood pressure they either won't cover me or (get this) had an insurance agent call me this evening and I really thought maybe I had something....anyway, he looked up a quote and it would cost me $1,000 a month!!!!!! So I have not had any good experience with this at all!!!!

Hi Diane, I am in the same boat as you! I found a doctor in Kentucky who will do the whole surgery for $16,000. You can get financing through Capital one. Right now that seems the only way for me. If you find another way keep me posted. Illl keep looking for options, I want to have the surgery this fall.
