Haven't been on for awhile, have a new date!

Have not been on for awhlie. I have been so busy at work and trying to get rid of my kidney stone that held me up 2 days before I was to have surgery last month. I had to go in and have the thing lasered out a week ago and now have a new date of May 4th with Dr. Glas**** in Cedar falls. Everyone I know that has had their surgery looks & feels so much better! I can hardly wait to get feeling better & be able to move better. Hearing all of you who are doing so well helps so much. Of course I still have the ups & downs of weather to do this or not but you all have me on the up side 99% of the time. Any surgery is scary! Anyway just wanted to tell you all Hi and hope to have the time to post more. Take care all Cheri

Cheri, Glad to hear that the kidney stone is taken care of. I hope that you weren't in too much pain with it. Congrats on a new date. May 4th is just around the corner!!! It won't be long now. Hang in there. God bless, Andrea

As I was going through the final round of stuff for my surgery last March - the ultra sound said my gall bladder needed to come out. I'd been having back pain - and it had been increasing. But I never put 2 plus 2 together to think it was my gall bladder. Anyway on March 25 - instead of having my WLS I had to have the gall bladder out. Then I had to wait TWO months. Sigh!! I remember being so bummed out because I had to wait longer. Now it's nearly a year ago already. I'm down 117 pounds with only about 8 to go to my dr's goal weight for me. But now that I'm nearly there - I think I need to lose maybe 15 more to be pretty fat free! I'm 5'10" and at 154 pounds right now. Sent in my Extreme Makeover application this week!!

Hi Cheri, My surgery with Dr. Glas**** is May 3rd. He is a really excellent Dr. isn't he? At first I didn't like Angie, the P.A. but now after talking with her several times she is really awesome and I told her I apoligize for being so judgemental. Maybe we will meet walking in the hall.
