Just to let everyone know I'm out of the hospitol and doing good. My husband won't let me do anything. I lost 13 lbs my first week(263) and I go back to the doctor on the 15 so I will find out how much more I have lost. I had to have not only my revision from vbg to roueny but I had my gall bladder, appendix removed and a hernia repaired. So I recieved a overhaul. I am craving fruit, salad, and chicken. Still not allowed to eat anything but babyfood. Maybe I will be able to try some after Thrusday. Thank you all for your support. Lori

Happy for you, I am new to this message board and was happy to read your note about your surgery. I had my surgery on Nov. 13, 2003 and have lost 67 pounds. I had another surgery on Mar. 19 to repair an old hernia that became twisted so I'm recovering at home, hoping to go back to work the first week in May. The by-pass surgery has changed my life for the better. I hope you will find that it's a positive step in the right direction for you. Thanks for the chat Sandy

Lori, Ditto to what Lynda said. We are here for you whenever you need us. You can post on the boards or simply click on our names and go to our profile and click on "e-mail" and you can send a personal e-mail to anyone. The people here are wonderful. So glad to hear that everything went well for your overhaul! You should be good for what - another 100,000 miles or so now? (LOL) Take care and be sure to take the time to heal properly. Welcome to the "losing side"!! God's blessings to you, Andrea
