one week short of 11 months
wow...you are doing sooo much better than me!! And your only 2 months further out! sigh... the dr. said my diabetes would slow down the loss..but DANG. CONGRATULATIONS though... your doing FABULOUS! I just realized i've been telling people im 9 months out for the last month..and im not 9 months out until saturday! lol Time flies when your losing weight i guess huh? I started at close to your weight (304 lbs) and i'm now down to 202. It's like my body doesn't want to go under 200 lbs... it's totally FREAKING me out. I've been on a plateau for the last month!!! and before that it was 6 weeks and then BAM i lost another 5 lbs. I just hate this! Did this happen to you too? I am now into a 14-16 top and a 16 (14's if they are stretch jeans) pants. I used to wear a TIGHT 26-28 sometimes a 32 before surgery. I keep telling myself if i didn't lose another lb. id still be happy, but dang.. i want to! I'm exercising regularly..and watching my carbs.. drinking plenty of water..and getting in my protein. Any other suggestions?

Mary,
You are nothing shy of inspiration for me!!! I was also over 300 pounds, 326 was the high before surgery. Am down at least 70 pounds, probably closer to 80, (haven't weighed at the center where I had surgery since March 17th, but scale at school showed that I was down 79 pounds last Thursday).
What advice do you have to offer those of us only several months out? What has helped you to be most successful? What does your main diet consist of? How much do you exercise? I think that your advice will be invaluable!!
Congrats!!!
God bless,
Andrea
P.S. Would love to see some pics.
