Does anyone know of a really good Therapist/Counselor in the Des Moines area? I want to start seeing someone to help me with my "Need to Feed". Thanks, Rachelle

Hey I am not from DesMoines so I don't know of any counselors.....But I am also having this same problem and many people have reccomend going to Overeaters Annonomys....(sp) You should have a few local support groups and I hear they really help.....I found the number in the phone book......also I am sure it is much much cheaper....probably free! Good Luck I will post and let you know how meetings go!

Hey Rachelle...I live in DSM and my therapist is wonderful. I started seeing her about 9 months before I had my surgery and she has helped me sort out all kinds of things. Her name is Kayla Wagener and her office is oon 39th and Ingersoll. I know she's covered on Blue Cross Blure Shield......she is not an HMO provider. She sees a lot of clients related to weight loss. She has been a God sent. Deb Paul
