DeeAnn Rawlings update for Judi D.

I called the hospital this morning to check-up on DeeAnn Rawlings. She sounded good. She had her surgery on Friday - open RNY - and has been up and walking. She will not have a leak test unless they see a reason to do one. The diet has progressed to pureed foods, but she said that she is still working on liquids. She is off morphine and only on purcacet (sp?) by mouth. She was hoping to go home today and noted that she will have support from her dh and children. I'm sure that she was shocked to hear from me instead of Judi! She will post when she is up to it. Blessings to all, Andrea

thank you so much andrea I never officially told DeeAnn I would be her angel, she has a best girlfriend, and Grinnell was nice enough to let them both have surgery Friday, and to let them share a room afterwards! Lucky girls! (actually, after my surgery, I didnt want anyone around me, but more power to them, lol) I am glad she made it thru ok, and sounds like things are well for her. Looking forward to hearing from her when she is back home and doing better Judi

andrea I think it went really well, I will find out today in class at noon! lol. I am trying not to get myself too pumped up, because I did that before and only got a C, lol. But I really honestly did know the stuff this time! well, it seemed like it anyhow! this anatomy is either getting easier or its my imagination. But starting today, learning all about SKIN (I have some I can donate to them! LOL) will let ya know tonight!!!!!!!!!!! Judi
