Help!!!!

Hi everyone! I went to Grinnell today for my preop testing!!! Friday is the day!! Boy am I getting nervous!! I almost ran out of there!! LOL I've got major butterflies in my stomach!! (more like carrier pigeons!!!) I know I'll be so much healthier and happier, but am having last minute jitters!! This isn't my first surgery, but I'm more nervous than I was before!! I'll be glad to get the surgery over with, so I can start being healthier!! I'm going down with my friend Kathy, we're having surgery on the same day, that way we can drag each other there!! YEAH!! Let me just tell you that you have the BEST hospital and SURGEON!!!! I had mine done 11-5-03. Grinnelll is the best and Dr. Schwartz is great!!!! You are going to do just fine. I did have the thought I am in a hospital gown but I can still run. This was the best thing I ever did for myself. THat is so neat that you and your friend are having surgery on the same day. well, Deeann, I hope you know how freakin excited I am for you. I really REALLY hope I didnt scare ya tonight at the meeting. But I think it helped you to see everyone and how well everyone is doing... didnt it? I know, I am worried about my cousin too, that has to have it re-done, but I think there were other things going on there too. Not sure though. Just get ready, eat a HUGE meal tomorrow, cuz you wont for a LONG time@! and get things together. Biggest thing would be a big nightgown you are comfortable in. because I didnt really get out of my jammies much the whole time I was there! and a robe too probably. and SLIPPERS big time! you will sleep a lot the first few days so dont worry about it. but take care of yourself. maybe I will call down there this weekend and find out about ya, ok!
