48 Hours & Gastric Bypass Surgery

Hi all...I just read that 48 Hours will be airing about Gastric Bypass Surgery on tonight's show. Just thought I would pass this on. Huggles...Carolyn

thanks for that, but from what I understand it is going to be the dark side of surgery. the negatives the bad things that can go wrong. Just so ya know, before ya watch it! I am not even going to bother. I know the negatives, and guess what, not one single bad thing has happened to me. (wel, having some serious female health problems, but that has nothing to do with my surgery) so, watch it if you like! Judi

Hi Judi, As it was I didn't get the chance to watch. Guess the dark doesn't bother me as it wouldn't change my mind anyway! I'm still "weighting" to get scheduled, will it ever happen? Anyway thanks for your input Huggles..Carolyn

I did watch it and it mainly focused on one certain doctor is Texas who was not suppose to be practicing but was and when that hospital found out he moved to Lubbock and starting practicing there. One woman died and one male had severe setbacks and still has a hole in his abdomen. But it all stems from this one doctor. They then showed how "Newman" from Seinfeld lost 100+ #'s by watching what he eats and exercising. Believe it or not, they didn't bash the surgery.
