Dr Hardy in Ames?

Hi everyone...haven't been on in a few weeks.....been busy enjoying the weather and cleaning.... Has anyone had surgery , or know anything about Dr. Hardy in Ames. I am thinking about going to him....love to hear anything you know. Thanks in advance, Tammy

My cardiologist's nurse's brother had Dr. Hardy do a bypass 25 yrs ago. He weighed 500 and now is 170. He's a nice guy. I don't have any WLS surgery info on him other than that. He will tell you like it is and doesn't beat around the bush.

Hi! I had open RNY by Dr. Hardy almost three years ago. My husband had open RNY by Dr. Hardy two years ago. We cannot recommend him enough! He is a very compassionate, professional, no-nonsense surgeon who will be completely honest with you from the beginning. I cannot say enough good about him or his nurse, Jean. I am 5'6" and pre-op my weight was 235 pounds, with diabetes and high blood pressure. Now, three years post-op, I am maintaining between 140-145, with no diabetes or high blood pressure.
