Hi everyone! I have not done much for posting but have been reading all of your posts. You have all inspired me so much! I have been scared about my up coming surgery (march 11th in Cedar Falls with Dr. Glas****) But thanks to all of you I"m so excited now. Tomorrow I start my 2 week liquid diet that he puts us on before surgery. Tonight is my last solid meal and is the start of a healthier life! Thanks so much for all of your support for each other and all of the people like me who are not used to this posting stuff

Cheri, Congrats on taking the steps necessary to start a healthier life.

And I know sometimes it can be really hard to put yourself out there and post things on the board - it has been kind of hard for me to learn as I have always been a real wallflower. Just think, by the time the flowers and trees are starting to bloom, you'll be ready to get out there and walk, walk, walk!! Best wishes to you for an uneventful procedure and speedy recovery!
