From the info gleaned from reading a lot of post-op profiles, I would have to say that, for most posties - yes, it's pretty normal to hit plateaus now and then. I wouldn't be too worried as it common for weight to hang on a while and then drop out of the blue.
If you want to, you might try to up your water and protein intake to see if that will make the scales budge. You can also increase your activity level - preferably in the cardiovascular side - and that can sometimes break a plateau.
If it gets to be 3 weeks or longer or you start to notice that you're feeling bloated or gain weight, you might want to check with your doc - as sometimes you can get constipated and not realize it until you're 'full', so to speak?
