Hello Iowa Folks!!!Roll CAll
It has been pretty slow around here lately......What is everyone up too??? I am two months out now......I am doing great.....I get sick every once in awhile....I do dump....found that out with thousand island....I don't dare try chocolate......I started at 293.....went down to 282 for surgery, today I am 232....so down 61 pounds total.....I hope everyone is doing great......Have a great day Jesi
I'm now 4 months out and doing great! Almost 75 pounds gone forever. Still having problems with big eyes, little tummy. I get such a kick out of putting food on a plate and having it looked like it wasn't touched after being stuffed to the gills. My regular doctor is happy with everything and only wants me to lose about 5 pounds a month. Pish-tush! I intend to lose as much as I can as quickly as I can.
Hi there... I am a little over two weeks post op.... Lost 17 pounds at my two week check.... I havent got sick yet... and havent dumped....but im pretty causious of what i eat... Chicken, tuna, shrimp, eggs, turkey, dr phil's protein drink, are just a few of the things i have been eating for my protein,, and they have went great....I crave something crunchie... any ideas.....???

Hi Jesi and everyone!!
I'm doing great! I feel so good physically and emotionally now. I have lost 59 pounds and nearly 30 inches. Gone from a 30-32 jeans to a 20 and almost an 18!! It is amazing to me how much better I feel carrying my own weight now. I have been busy with school, I get measured for my cap and gown this week for the big college graduation April 30th!! I'm so excited I could burst! Not sure what they'll do about the measurements since I won't be the size I am now come graduation, but oh well. LOL.
Glad to hear everyone so far is doing good too!
Take care
Tammy

Hi, Two months past & down 52lbs, 252 down to 200lbs, patiently waiting for that under 200 weighin. I weigh once a week at the hospital I work at. It's hard not to weigh every day though. I spend about 3 days a week throwing up probally due to a stricture, which I'm having checked out next week. I dumped 1 time on a red velvet cupcake on Valentines Day. I'm down to a 22 jean from a 26, but if I did'nt have such a large apron I'd probally be in a 18 or 16.

HI,
I am 35 weeks post-op and the last time that I weighed I was down 113.5 pounds. It has been awhile and I have given up the scale thing every week. I would get to frustrated if the numbers didn't fall fast enough.
The pounds slow down after you hit about 7 months. The pounds don't seem to fall off as fast as from before. I am optismistic that I will make my goal weight of 140. About 35 to go!! The Drs. goal is 155 so I have about 22 pounds to reach that.
Keep up the good work everyone.!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted in a while but it was 10 weeks yesterday since my surgery. I have to say I feel great have not thrown up once have had a real full feeling a few times but that of course was my own fault. I'm walking 2 miles a day now and our new wellness center will open next week so can't wait for some work on the machines and the swimming. I have lost 50 some pounds. The only problem I have had is low iron which I'm taking pills for now and will have it checked again March 1st to see if it has improved. I still shocked that I am never hungry. Oh am now fitting into clothes I haven't worn in years and bought a new shirt a 1x not a 3x amazing.....
