Morning all. Thought I would upddate you, it's 2 weeks post op and went to get staples out yesterday, according to what I weighed yesterday and what I was day of surgery is 28 lbs !! But of course easy to lose when your just living on jello and cream of potato soup. Get to go to full puree for a week and then on to soft foods. Surgery went great, but did have a little set back with excess bleeding after I got home, but hematologist got that taken care and drove kids to school today for first time. Thanks to you all for the well wishes and glad to be here on the losing side.

Leslie, Keep up the good work!! Remember to get plenty of rest so you can heal properly. Us women seem to feel the need to "take control" of the household again (I know, because nothing is being done the way we want it to be). Let others do it and rest. Welcome to the losing side. God bless, Andrea

WOW!! 2 lbs a day loss?? awesome! I think the thing I liked the best was getting those staples out! If I could've just scratched it for about an hour afterwards it would have been heaven! LOL Being able to drve again was a close second. I HATE knowing I can't go if I want too. Even if I don't go anywhere, just knowing I can helps! Welcome to the losing side and keep up the good work! Leslea, Really glad to hear you're doing better now. Hopefully, everything will be smooth sailing from here. Congrats on the loss so far - I'm jealous - I'm losing pretty SLOW! Oh well, I AM losing! LOL! Keep in touch and make sure you take care of yourself. Do what the doc says and keep up the good work! - Deb W.
