Hello all

I can't sleep....so I thought I would post my update. I did my psych eval last week. This week I meet with the physical therapist, dietician and get the results back from the Pyschologist. It is so hard to believe I am actually moving forward. I have a date set on March 16th for surgery. I am so excited I can hardly think about anything else. I am going through the Bariatic Surgery Center in Boone. They have been absolutely wonderful. They treat you like family there. So far it has been a wonderful journey. I pray it continues this way. Thank you all so much for your support and allowing me to "lurk" so much. I definately read way more than I post. I have learned so much from all of you. On the journey, Tammy

Hi Tammy- Good luck in your progress and sound like everything is going great. My thoughts and prayers will be with you on March 16th. I am 5 months post-op and have lost 105 lbs. Can't wait to see you on the losing side. Also I have a son that had his open RNY on Jan. 28th and his 1st week he lost 17 lbs. Well good luck and keep us all posted

Tammy, you are moving right along. keep us informed and ask any questions you needto. someone on the board has probably gone through what ever isbothering you and will be wiling to help.

Tammy, Good luck with everything. The journey seems soooooooooo long when you are waiting for surgery. I remember. I was online almost every night looking for support the week before surgery. Hang in there and remember that we are only a "post" away! God bless, Andrea

Hi and glad you decided to come out of the "lurker's closet!" Hang in there, It seemed like for me that once things started to really move along that the time just flew by. Keep us posted and feel free to ask or post about anything. Elizabeth

Hey Tammy, I had my surgery up there too. I love the office and Doc. You're in good hands. I think you'll like your stay there also. I found the nurses (with one small exception) to be very nice and very competent. Everyone was quite helpful - they were right there when I got my first shower and even helped when I needed some to visit the commode. Hope everything goes smoothly for you!
