Hi everyone- I haven't been active with this site but have heard good things about it. I had my bypass (roux-en-Y) 1/15/04 with Dr Glas**** I could not have received better care from him. I did have a problem after surgery- because of my gallbladder removal, not the bypass. I needed further surgery to correct the problem but am on my way to recovery now. Just wanted to tell Elizabeth- thanks for your entry and for wishing me good luck. Take care everyone- I can't believe that I am finally on the "otherside"!

Kristin- Welcome to the losers! You'll be amazed at how fast it flies off- at first! Then it kind of slows for awhile so you can catch your breath, and buy new clothes! This site is a really good place for any questions you may have- no matter what they are! Everyone here is going thru, gone thru, and will go thru the process, so don't be afraid to ask ANY questions! Best of luck, Jeri H.
