quick update

Hi! Just a quick update. I was in serious computer withdrawls the last couple of days! My neice is doing great and her Mom is finally out of the hospital. That is why I got to come home tonight. (took us 30 minutes to drive 6 miles!) I will probably not be on a lot the next few days, since we still have to do Dr. appointments and my sister is still recovering and needs some help with the baby. I stopped in yesterday (Wed) to see Sherry. She was doing good. Said she hurt and was hot (I turned her thermostat down from 78 to 68, hopefully she doesn't freeze!) Looked good and was in much better shape than I remember being the day of surgery. I am going to get back up to see her again before she is dismissed. The direct # to her room is (515) 239-2391 I bet she would be happy to hear from any and all. I will be so glad for spring, I HATE driving in the snow and it never fails that it storms the night before we need to travel to DesMoines for something! If anyone needs to get in touch with me, I will be checking the message board and my e-mail. If you want to send a message to Sherry, I will print off her support page before I go to see her again so post a message to her there. Everyone take care and try to stay warm and dry. Elizabeth

Elizabeth, Thanks for the update. Hope your sister continues to get better. Glad to hear that you made it home safely in this wonderful weather! In all of this hustle and bustle, how is Elizabeth doing? How much have you lost now? We would love to see new pictures. How is everything going with the eating? Are you doing okay? Let us know, Andrea

Andrea, thanks for asking! I am TIRED! LOL I haven't gotten on a scale since my appt. on Jan 20th so I don't know, but I know I have been very busy and trying to catch protein when I can. Hopefully things will settle down now and I can get back to my regular routine, either that or let it snow a few more times and I can't get out of the house so I will have to sleep and eat protein and drink!! LOL I can't see the difference much yet, but I notice it in little things like being able to walk thru somewhere without turning sideways and holding my breath, or being able to tie my shoes in the middle instead of on the inside of my shoe. I will work on a new picture. Jeff (BF) and I decided to get a camcorder/digital camera for ourselves for birthday present. When I figure it out, I will post a new pic. Take care and let us know how you are doing also, Elizabeth
