David's update

Hi everyone- My son David had his surgery Jan 28th at Grinnell and today he went to his first post-op visit and to have his staples taken out and he has lost 17 lbs. his first week. He is doing great. He still has a G-tube in place and will have it for 5 more weeks. He's now on the losing team. Diana

Dianna, tell David that is wonderful. I am sure he is happy. Keep up the good work, both of you.

Diana, it sounds like David is doing good, but how could he not with the inspiration he has in his mother??? Tell him we are rooting for him and welcoming him to the losing side! Elizabeth
