Hi I'm not sure how I'm doing. I went back to work a week ago. Found out they are running out of work for me to type. My manager got fired. I can barely keep things down. Like tonight I had a few crackers and threw up, but this time I threw up more blood then the food. I don't think this is normal. My surgery was December 22, and my incisions are still open, any ideas on what to do, to help close up faster? Otherwise, I have lost about 60 pounds in over a month. I'm under 300 at least. I started at 350. I am not liking this snow. I'm scared in driving in it. And I hear more is coming Wednesday and Thursday. Well, I'm going to bed, it's only 7 p.m. I also have low thyroid, and I'm supposed to be taking medication, but haven't been able to keep it down. Take Care everybody. Lisa Young

Lisa....Call your surgeon or PCP! You shouldn't be throwing up blood. They need to know about that. Low thyroid is nothing to mess with -- they should find a way for you to get that medicine down. Without it, your systems are all very slow/sluggish. Take care, and let us know what you find out. Francie P

Lisa - I agree with Francie - even though I haven't had the surgery yet when blood is coming out anywhere in the body - especially orally something is wrong! Get help immediately - I don't want to scare you hon, but I'm concerned about you! Let us know what is found out! - Carol

Lisa, Did you go to the doctor? If not, I will repeat what the others have said - GO SEE YOUR SURGEON!!! Throwing up blood does not sound right. You need to make sure that your new "little tummy" is not damaged. Get it checked out ASAP and let us all know. God bless, Andrea
