Hernia or no hernia - again

Hi all again, Just wanted to post that I am seeing the surgeon this afternoon to see if I do have a hernia or not. I have been experiencing some pain on either side of my incision towards the top whenever I bend, twist or stretch. I actually screamed when I jumped into my truck the other morning. Of course, lifting up an 18 month old, laundry baskets, garbage, picking up toys, etc., etc., etc., doesn't help and all hurts. Then, Monday night I found a bump under the skin where it hurts. I posted a message on the main board and got several replies that it sounds like a hernia. I just didn't think that hernias hurt. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Will update when I find out what is going on. Hernia's do hurt. I have one in my bellybotton. when I take a shower and bend over to wash my feet, I double up in pain. It feels like a sharp jerk. so let us know. shine

I am glad to hear it wasn't a hernia....we will just keep having our pains I guess!!!
