I am home

I came home today from the hospital. I went from planning on going home on Thursday to throwing up and then having diareah. this all happened after they took my IV out and of course had to put it back in. they thought it was an infection, but seemed to just be my body working it's way back to normal. I am having a hard time with the food. I can't stand the mashed potatoes, didn't like the cottage cheese, (which I love) and could barely stand the applesauce. the sugar free jello was too sweet also. I guess taste buds really changed. I think water is okay and I now love the EBY'S fruit bars with no sugar added, the taste and tart are there.

Welcome home, Beverly!! Take it easy on yourself and be sure to get lots of rest. In my experience, I had to worry more about getting in the fluids, including protein drinks, than the foods. Prayers for a quick recovery, Andrea
