Prayers are needed for my son

My 22 month old, Hunter, is scheduled to undergo a brain MRI and an EEG monday morning. He had a siezure last monday and stopped breathing on me. Thank God I am an EMT and knew what to do. I called 911 and started breathing for him. He came out of it right away and was fine by the time the paramedics got here. Well he was crabby, but that is normal after a seizure. By the time we got to the hospital he was actually flirting with the female paramedic . The cause of his seizure is not known at this time as he was not running a fever and did not have a head injury. We are guessing that he will be diognosed withthe same thing as our oldest child, BREC ( benign rolandic epilepsy of childhood). Our oldest is on meds for his and the hope is he will outgrow it by his teenage years. Please say an extra prayer for the next few nights for Hunter as we are very concerned about him. We will not have the results of the scan until Tuesday afternoon when we see the nureologist.~~~AmyLynn LAP RNY 08-05-03 / 56 pounds ( gained 7 last week and working my ass off to lose them plus more)

AmyLynn, When something like this happens it puts everything in a whole new perspective doesn't it? What would have happened to that sweet child if he had been with someone else instead of you?
