Can we eat raisins? My husband seems to think that raisins are a no no now. I'm almost four months out, 90 pounds gone! But I want to know if I can eat raisins!

Jan, My list from the doctor says no raisins. I haven't tried them so don't know what happens. Ann

What an amazing weight-loss.....how are you doing it??? I am on of those slow loosers! Anyways about the raisins...I am sure you could chew them well and they would be fine.....The only thing is....they are loaded with sugar....and that is why we should avoid them....They have no protein and lots of sugar.....But you sound like you are doing awesome, so if you occasionally have them for a little snack....and as long as you don't dump on them, you should be fine...Take Care and let the rest of us know your secrets...TakeCare Jesi

Raisins are packed with sugar. I eat them in breads, but never by the handful. I am afraid I will dump on them. They should digest fine, especially if you chew thoroughly, just be careful of dumping! Let us know how it goes! Julie
