Support Groups

My daughter lives in Ankeny. Are there any good support groups there or in the Des Moines area? She is at home recovering from surgery, but want her to find a good support group when she goes back to Ankeny.

Jim, here is the yahoo link for a group of Mostly patients of Dr.'s in the Iowa Methodist system, but not all are. They meet in Des Moines and Ames on occasion. I have not been to one, even though I was at methodist for surgery. But I belong to the group and read the mesages. I believe many others do as well so I don't know how many are still from methodist. Am i talking in circles? Sorry, bedtime (damn puppy!) lol Wish her well for me and hope this helps, Elizabeth
