hello!

My name is Cheri I'm from Cedar Falls and am planing on having surgery with Dr.Glasscok here in Cedar Falls. Has anyone had him? I hear he is very good. If you have had him or are going to, let me know maybe we can learn from each other. thanks cheri

Hello Cheri, I had surgery Sept. 18, 2003 with Dr. Glas**** I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon! He is extremely caring, very straight forward, and very precise. His whole office staff and the hospital itself are great. I know his waiting list is very long but well worth the wait. I started the process in Feb. with my initial consult then went through all the testing and finally had a surgery date in late July, for Sept.. His guidelines before surgery and after seem to be a lot stricter than other doctors but it is for the benefit of the patient. You are put on a two week ahead of surgery liquid diet, then two week after surgery liquid diet, then 2-4 week soft food diet, then at 6-8 weeks you gradually introduce foods back into your life. I hope I answered a few questions for you. My experience with him has only been positive. And to date I have lost 60lbs, so that makes having surgery even better.
