I still have a leak

Hi this is Ginger again, I went and got a swallow study done this morning, and I still am leaking where my Intesine and stomach pouch meet. It has been a little over a month sinse my RNY and it did not heal on its own like my doctor hoped, I guess he will want to go back in and fix it. Maybe that is why I still feel sick most of the time. I just don't think I can handle another surgery.

Ginger- I am so sorry!!! What a total pain and probably a little scary too! Hopefully it will all be over soon and you will be feeling better! I will keep you in my prayers! Michelle

Ginger, Been there bought the Tshirt. Just try to keep your spirits up, I know it's hard but the results are SOOO worth it. PS Try to keep a bit of an incline even when you sleep, it seemed to help me... Take care, you are in my prayers. Paula

Ginger I am so sorry to hear you are having such troubles. It is a testament as to the character of a person you are though, you are getting through this and my prayers are that each day is better than the last for you. You do have me scared though, I am scheduled to have my surgery by Dr. K. on 1/26/04 and I was very calm about it til I saw your problems you have been having, now I'm a little nervous. Each person is different in how they heal etc. I really do not think he rushed through your surgery as he is a very competent physician, hard to tell what the cir****tances were. I do have a question for you though you said he wanted to wait and see if things would work out right. By this do you mean you just called his office and got a call back or did you pursue it further than that with him. I know his office is busy and he is booked through to March I think already if not later but I would not believe he would push you off to another physician? Or is that what happened to you? Thanks and like I said I am praying that you bounce back from this a quickly. God Bless.
