I had my surgery Dec.2 before I had the surgery, I had asked him how long the surgery would take he said 2 and half hours, it took him 1 hour. I wonder if he did not rush the surgery. After the surgery i had 2 leaks where the Intestine was attached to the new stomach pouch, he said he wanted to see if they would heal on there own. I was in the hospital for 10 days, got out for 6 and went back for Emergency surgery, another doctor did that surgery found a bile duct leak where Dr. Keating had takin out my gallbladder. My stomach cavity had 2 and half gallons of poisen in it (bile). That surgery took 4 hours, i was in the hospital for 4 days after that one. Came home with an open wound on my belly that was 9in long 3in wide and 3in deep. I am really thinking that Dr. Keating did not take his time and just botched my surgery all together, my second surgery was life threatning. Just wondered if this man was anyones doctor and how they felt about there PO care, or if you had any problems. Ginger

Also I am a nurse and have looked at Dr Keatings Stats and the are above average ...with every surgery there are risk for complications and death. I hope that you will bring these concerns to him...
