Surgery scheduled!!!

I know it's been a long time since I posted, had problems with internet company, but just wanted to let you know I am to have surgery 1/26/04. Just 20 days to go. I can't beleive how lucky I have been as everything has gone smoothly so far. I just pray it keeps going that way. Wish me luck and hope to tell you all hi again on the lighter side.

Good to see you on here again! And good news! I'm so happy for you! It's pretty intimidating to begin this process with all the stories floating around about ins companies that deny and those who go through multiple appeals and/or have to jump through a multitude of hoops- I'm glad your journey is progressing and will be looking forward to hearing more! BTW- there is a new support group just started in Cedar Rapids meeting the first Tuesday of every month 6:00 at the Nutrition Center next to Workwell off of 1st Ave. It is part of St Lukes and you don't have to have your surgery at Lukes to participate. We had a great meeting tonight with 8 people attending.

Great news! I was just reschelduled for the 27th. So we will be very close in dates! Which hospital are you using?

I'll be at Mercy so if your there as well we'll probably be roommates if your on the 27Th. Hope so but if not good luck and maybe we can chat on the phone or something as well and kind of be belly buddies. Take care and God Bless. Are you nervous at all?
