wasn't recognized

My neighbor stopped me the other day and said that she had seen me out side a few weeks before and thought that my younger brother must be visiting. She didn't know that it was me, I don't have a younger brother. She said I look a lot like my 19 yr old son, that made me feel real good. I can wear some of my son's clothes though. I have lost 80 lbs, wife has lost 40lbs, and our 23 yrs old daughter is having surgery on Wed. Pray for her. Jim

That had to be a rush!!! Congrats to all of you, we all know what courage it takes to pursue this route. I will keep your daughter in my prayers, but look at the examples she has!!! Sue

That's wonderful Jim! I am waiting for that experience at my class reunion next year! I will pray for your entire family- you have all undergone many changes, physically and emotionally, with more to come. Congradulations and best wishes to you all!

Hey Jim, I got this all the time also. People say, "Do you have an older sister that's heavier?" I say "No that's me, this is a smaller version!" The other day a waitress thought my son was my boyfriend...(he's 18 and looks older... he was mad, I was flattered!!!!! LOL Paula You are all in my prayers Keep up the great progress

Wow! That must have been a real high, Jim. Every since I have gained so much weight all I hear is how I look like my sister. My husband doesn't see the similarity, but everyone else seems to. She is 10 years older than me, so it's kind of a bummer when people call me by her name. Now that I have had the surgery, maybe once the weight comes off, I will look like myself again! Congrats to you and your wife, and best of luck to your daughter.
