Still weighting

I talked to Dr.'s nurse yesterday & she said she will try to get paper work done & off to Ia. Foundation this week. I try to be patient BUTTTTTTTTT sometimes it's hard... Hopefully will start my New Year off on the right foot & have a date. Thanks for all the Christmas cards everyone, really enjoyed them. Carolyn

Dear Carolyn: Hi! I was so sorry to hear about the tragic loss of those four girls, from your community, what a terrible loss for everyone. I read your most current post, and wanted to tell you to hang in there, and don't give up!!!!!!! It gets so frustrating,believe me, I know!! I'm still waiting to see if the insurance gods will smile upon me! I sent three different appeal letters in, plus more Dr's office notes. Now I'm waiting to hear if they will approve me, or I'll have to wait six more months. I have to go for a sleep study in January,for possible sleep apnea, and I've started more meds, for my hypertension. What is their problem, why can't they see how much we need these surgeries? They seem to want to let us get so expensive to them, before they'll just pay for the surgery, which would save them alot of money. Hi DeeAnn, Today was the funeral, I didn't go but Katie & I went for visitations last night & that was really almost to much. Ok I'm gathering information & writing what I want to say to these so called "Gods" who want to run our country & give us health care. I have been in touch with my para-legal friend & he is coaching me, I want to lobby a bill for gastric by-pass My goal in the lobby is to get this passed: if primary & surgeon are in agreement that you need this surgery then there will be no more pre-approval needed from insurance companies. If anyone wants to jump on the band wagon with me they are more than welcome. Anyone interested let me know, we need to pull together on this. Carolyn
