New person here

Hi everyone. My sister, Janet Schmidt, gave me the addy to this place. I think it is really great that you all are having the surgery. I am trying in every way I know how to get my insurance (Walmart) to pay. It truly has me so depressed. I feel that if I try really hard maybe I can take weight off. My biggest fear is keeping it off!!

Hi Diane Welcome aboard. I have never met such a fine bunch of "losers" as I have on this Message Board. They are a wonderful bunch full of support. Dear Diane: Hi, and welcome to the Iowa Message Board!!! My name is DeeAnn. I'm currently tryiny to get my insurance to cover my surgery. I was denied initially, but am in the appeals process. I was really down in the dumps right after my denial, but have rallied around, and am appealing. For some people the approval process is quick, and painless, but there are alot of people that are having difficulties,and it takes awhile sometimes. It will be worth it in the end!! hey Diane, this is Kaye. I do hope that your insurance comes through for you. You deserve it. I am so glad that I had the surgery an am so shock at how many people are now having it done also. Vernon said "look what you started" I just smile and say that if it makes someone else healthy and happpy then great. I would do it again if I had too. Good luck to you and talk to you soon. Kaye
